Symsource has its roots in Symbian OS development and fully understands the ramifications of making not only the core OS, but also the UI platforms, open source. We anticipate that many new players will enter the Symbian sector to take advantage of the maturity of the OS, bringing further new opportunities, technologies, differentiation and competition.

We will be actively contributing to the Symbian Foundation and will be introducing our own products in the new epoch. In the long term we believe the Symbian Foundation will be a great success - and in the short term we wish a very happy tenth birthday to Symbian!
